Best way to Backup DVD Movies to PC or Laptop?
Hey Internet, I've copied DVD's and what not before. I've done straight copy's of DVD's from friends and family and what not. But here's what I wanna do.
I just got a Netbook with no DVD Drive. It's got a 12″ screen and is great for movie watching while on the plane, or in the car etc..
I want to be able to take my DVD's Like The Hangover, or Liar Liar, or TV Show Seasons and rip them to my PC in a simple file. and then move them to my Laptop so I can just play them. I know like DVD Decrypter makes a Video_TS and Audio_TS file and you have to choose the right one.
Is there a program that will just put out a single file that is the movie, and I can just copy that to my netbook and play the movie with WMP, or VLC, or other Power DVD 9.
I have handbrake, I can use it to make the size smaller by changing screen size to something closer to my 1366×768 Resolution right. Rip them in 720?
I also have DVDFab 6, It's a great program I paid for. I can use it to rip DVD's to my PC hard drive rather than copy right to another DVD.. but it makes all these weird output files. I just want one file thats the movie. is this possible.
Whats the best, quickest, and best looking DVD Ripper that I can use to make back-up's of my personal DVD's I own, and rip to my PC for playback and for my HTPC?

Not like some ordinary DVD rippers, it will not break the video into pieces, it will join all DVD titles and chapters and make them as one standalone video file, thus you can play it in windows media player.
